Handcrafted with genuine humus and earth, roasted for stability, this classic very dark transparent brown is rated less than permanent because the gray tint it makes will fade to golden tones over time. Used full strength, it is more resistant to change.
Not meant to be used as a solid mass tone due to its poor drying properties, this authentic pigment is for mixing only into other colors.
Vandyke Brown is milled with the finest alkali refined Linseed Oil in limited quantities for a naturally drying durable paint film.
