Slightly deeper than the Naples Yellow Light Genuine, this classic Naples is distinctly more yellow compared to our modern Naples Orange and not opaque in mixing.

One of the first man-made pigments in use throughout the ancient world, this true Antimony Yellow was invented to color and embellish glass, tiles, and even the bricks of royalty.

A principal color on the palettes of painters from the 1700's until the 1850's, when the new Chrome and Cadmium yellows were introduced and eventually gained favor.

Contains lead and is not for use by children.

Naples Yellow Dark Genuine is milled with the finest alkali refined Linseed Oil in limited quantities for a naturally drying durable paint film.
