Imported pigment. As an Ivory Black crafted from Natural Black Iron Oxide and plant based charcoal, French Ivory Black is strong and neutral in mixing.
Here is an Ivory Black not made from animal bone pigment, so it is not as warm in tone or nuanced as our original Ivory Black, but has more normal drying time. Semi-transparent and versatile in mixing. Shown tinted with our Titanium White at bottom left and our Flake White at upper right.
French Ivory Black is milled with the finest alkali refined Linseed Oil in limited quantities for a naturally drying durable paint film.
