Strong Quinacridone, modern permanent synthetic red with a bright pinkish mass tone producing vivid, intensely cold, and lightfast tints with white.

Rich in pigmentation, this semi-transparent cool primary easily brightens other mixtures and tints, mixing cleanly to amplify both warm & cool colors. Mixtures showing a warm pink (Rosebud) and a very warm yellow (Cadmium Yellow) being used to modify the cold mixing Ruby Red and create unique oranges and coral pinks.

Ruby Red is milled with the finest alkali refined Linseed Oil in limited quantities for a naturally drying durable paint film.
