Michael Elsasser: Palette Connections

The Church of St. John's in the Village, New York City, presents Michael Elsasser: Palette Connections on view in their Revelation Gallery at 224 Waverly Place through January 2020.

Over two-dozen portraits in oil comprise this wonderfully personal and engaging exhibition open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, from 10am- 3pm.

"In pursuit of his artistic muses, (Michael) has met and impacted the lives of many people whose images he has created into pieces. He does not simply appropriate images for the spectacle of a painting but rather takes time to understand deeply the subjects and overall material he depicts."
