An upcoming exhibition of new work by painter Sam Scott, MIND/MIRROR, will open at The William Havu Gallery in Denver, CO, next week.

On view from August 26 through October 8, 2022, with an opening reception on Friday, August 26, from 5 to 8 pm, at the gallery's 1040 Cherokee St., location.

Both Sam's oil paintings and watercolors are included in this large exhibition of over 100 works:

Sam Scott has lived and worked in Santa Fe (NM) since 1969. His work has been the focus of exhibitions at the New Mexico Museum of Art, Sam Scott: An American Voice, 1967-1997, and the Center for Contemporary Arts, Messages from the Wounded Healers.

His artwork was included in the 1975 Whitney Biennial. He has been recognized for his work by the French government with awards and exhibitions. Sam Scott earned an MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art, where his teachers included abstract painters Philip Guston and Clyfford Still, among others.
