Transparent and very deep neutral brown with cold gray tints...very similar to our Van Dyke Brown.  Excellent for glazing and shadow placement.

Not meant to be used as a solid mass tone due to its poor drying properties, this authentic pigment is for mixing only into other colors.

Italian Cassel Earth is milled with the finest alkali refined Linseed Oil in limited quantities for a naturally drying durable paint film.
