Crafted from modern permanent yellow pigments, Basic Yellow is a slightly warm primary yellow. Gentle in mixing and transparent.
Useful for subtle changes in value and tone when mixed with other primaries. A soft natural yellow, our Basic Yellow does not act like white in mixtures.
Basic Yellow is also included as a primary yellow in our new set, The Basic Eight
Basic Yellow is milled with the finest alkali refined Linseed Oil in limited quantities for a naturally drying durable paint film.
